Another day with possible record-breaking heat
SEATTLE -- SeaTac hit 93 yesterday, beating the previous record of 87 set back in 2009. Olympia at 91 and Bellingham at 83 also broke records. Today will be cooler, but we'll still see abundant sunshine after morning cloud & fog, and we'll still be hot and could break more records. Mid 80s today.
The record for SeaTac is 85, set back in 1975 & 1961. Friday & Saturday will be lovely -- morning clouds/fog, afternoon sunshine, cooler with highs near 80. Then things change around here.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with maybe a few showers late in the day and highs in the mid 70s. Next week looks mostly cloudy with a chance of showers each day and highs cooling down - low 70s on Monday, upper 60s on Tuesday & Wednesday.
