Arrest made after 26-year-old woman shot in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE -- Police have made an arrest after a woman was shot in the stomach earlier this month in downtown Seattle.

On June 7, police were called to the report of a shooting at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Yesler Way. Officers found a 26-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her stomach.

She was taken to the hospital and is recovering from her injuries.

On Tuesday, a 29-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the shooting. She was booked into the King County Jail for assault.
