August starting out cloudy, cooler & maybe a little wet

Today and tomorrow will be mainly cloudy with high temps only around 70. There is a chance of showers late today through tomorrow. But it won't be much rain. Chance of thunderstorms continues for the Cascades and there is a Red Flag Warning for high fire danger from the Cascade crest into Eastern Washington. Our SeaFair Weekend looks splendid! Expect cloudy mornings with partly-to-mostly sunny skies by the afternoons. Highs will be near normal -- mid-to-upper 70s. Next week, we go back to that summery pattern of morning clouds, afternoon sun and highs around 80.
