Batkid's wish transforms San Francisco into Gotham

SAN FRANCISCO- A little boy got the surprise of a lifetime today when San Francisco was transformed into Gotham City to fulfill his wish.

The Make-A-Wish foundation granted the wish for Miles, a five-year-old leukemia patient, who wanted to be Batman for a day.

The day started with a breaking news story on TV, with San Francisco's Police Chief asking anyone if they have seen "Batkid." The chief needed his help to solve a crime.

Miles' day included rescuing a damsel in distress tied up on the Hyde Street cable-car tracks and catching the Puzzler in the act of robbing a downtown vault.

After eating lunch, he got a call from the chief, telling him to look out the window where he saw a huge group of volunteers jumping up and down asking for his help. Apparently, a villain had captured the San Francisco's mascot Lou Seal.

After catching the bad guy, Miles moved on to San Francisco City Hall, where he was given a key to the city.
