Missing Bellingham man with dementia found safe
BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Bellingham Police Department (BPD) say a man with dementia who was reported missing this week has been found safe and was reunited with his family.
According to the BPD, 73-year-old Charles Scott was reported missing after going on a walk on Mahogany Ave. at around 8 p.m. Tuesday
Authorities say he suffers from dementia, is weak and frail. He also don't have a cellphone.
On Thursday morning, police said Scott was found safe and returned home.
"Thank you to all who looked for him," police said.
