SEATTLE -- The Seahawks released the players physically unable to perform Thursday on the first day of training camp, and the list contained some big names.

According to Seahawks.com, these players were physically unable to perform at the first day of training camp:

Physically Unable to Perform List
DE Chris Clemons (knee)
WR Percy Harvin (hip)
TE Zach Miller (foot)
DE Greg Scruggs (knee)
CB Tharold Simon (foot)
RB Robert Turbin (foot)

Non-Football Injury List
LB Korey Toomer (knee)

Players can come off the list at anytime during camp. but the designations provide an early hint at some nagging injuries. Clemons injured his knee in the playoffs last year and was expected to be out for at least part of the season.

However, heralded new Hawk Percy Harvin has suffered hip problems previously, and early indications show those problems continuing. According to Q13 FOX Sports Director Aaron Levine, Harvin is waiting on a second doctor's opinion to hear about a slight tear in his labrum. A tear could potentionally mean surgery.
