Boy, 8, dies after four-car crash on I-5 near Tumwater

TUMWATER, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says an 8-year-old boy has died of his injuries following a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near Tumwater over the weekend.

The patrol said Tuesday that the boy died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle late Sunday. He has not been identified.

Two others were injured in the crash.

The four-vehicle crashed happened around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

The patrol says a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV crashed into the back of a Toyota Sienna van, pushing it into other vehicles stopped on the freeway.
