CAPTURED: Violent DOC fugitive arrested, sent to state prison after bad behavior in Chelan County Jail
CAPTURE UPDATE --
Department of Corrections officers say Douglas Atchison was arrested in East Wenatchee and booked into the Chelan County Jail on Wednesday, May 17th -- but transferred to the Washington State Prison in Walla Walla because of bad, out of control behavior in the jail.

The Department of Corrections says Douglas Atchison is wanted again in Wenatchee
He just got out of prison three weeks ago and is already breaking probation for a drug bust and vicious assault on deputies called to a home for domestic violence.
He has ties to Wenatchee, Chelan County, Okanogan County and Douglas County.

FUGITIVE CAPTURED March 2, 2015 --
Douglas Atchison was arrested by Okanogan County deputies on Monday night and booked into the Okanogan County Jail early Tuesday morning.
Okanogan County deputies caught Atchison during a traffic stop. Deputies say he did not pull over right away and once he did, he failed to comply with the deputy's directives at gunpoint. A deputy released his K9 from his vehicle and Atchison complied and surrendered because he didn't want to be bitten by the dog.
From there Atchison was then taken into custody without incident.

FUGITIVE WANTED BY DOC IN CHELAN COUNTY February 20, 2015 --
There's a safety alert in place for a fugitive who has violently assaulted law enforcement.
The Violent Crimes Task Force in Yakima is warning anyone who comes in contact with missing high-violent offender, Douglas Atchison, to use extreme caution.
He just got out of prison earlier this month, and is already breaking probation in Chelan County for assaulting deputies.
The task force says Atchison is a dangerous gang member who's street name is "Chucky."
His body's filled with tattoos, including a clown on his left shoulder.
He's hid in the Chelan/Bridgeport area before and also has criminal history in Okanogan and Douglas counties.
