City expects at least 5,000 at Seahawks Super Bowl rally today
SEATTLE – At least 5,000 people are expected to attend the city's Seahawks Super Bowl rally at the Seattle Center from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, and motorists who are planning to attend are advised to arrive before 10:30 a.m., the city said Tuesday.

The event will be held at the Fisher Pavilion and South Fountain Lawn.
Mayor Ed Murray, former Seahawks, Blitz, Sea Gals and Blue Thunder will appear in addition to a live performance by the Top 40 cover band Curb Appeal.
"There could be considerable congestion on streets surrounding the center grounds, so motorists should plan to arrive early – around 10 -10:30 a.m. The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) encourages attendees to travel to the event via alternate modes of transportation such as transit. Fans sporting Seahawks apparel will be entitled to a free round trip on the Seattle Center Monorail between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, please visit:
