Cold and sunny through the weekend
SEATTLE -- Cold nights but nice sunny days through the weekend.
There will be some amazing stargazing with several planets visible and Comet ISON becoming visible to the naked eye. ISON will be traveling near the sun, so it's best to look for it in the low eastern sky about 90 minutes before sunrise. Enjoy. For more information, click here for a NASA webpage.
The nights will drop below freezing, so give yourself some extra time getting to work in the morning. Watch for slick spots on the less-traveled roads and on bridges. Ice scrapers will need to be handy each morning.
The days will be sunny and bright. We now have nine hours of daylight and 15 hours of nighttime.
No real threat of rain for Thanksgiving.
