Crew accidentally demolishes wrong house
KDFW -- The city of Fort Worth is investigating how demolition crews knocked down the wrong house.
Only a clean slab was left where David Underwood's home once stood near Lake Worth.
The property had been in his family for decades, but was accidentally demolished by Ft. Worth city crews on Friday.

"We came around Silver Creek looking for the lot and my wife said, David… I think the house is gone.," said Underwood. "We looked up there and sure enough, it's gone!"
The city confirmed the blunder on Monday afternoon and released a statement to FOX4.
"On July 12, 2013, contractors demolished the wrong property on Watercress Drive. The property to be demolished should have been 9708 Watercress Dr. The property that was demolished was a vacant structure located at 9716 Watercress Drive," the city's code compliance office said in a prepared statement.
A nearby home has been scheduled to be knocked down since January according to a neighbor. That same neighbor tried to alert city officials Friday morning when crews starting demolishing the wrong house.
Underwood said there were items inside the demolished home, like personal items and antiques, that are now gone for good.
