LOS ANGELES, Calif -- One month after the death of legendary radio host Casey Kasem, a spokesman for Kasem’s daughter says Kasem’s body remains unburied at a morgue in Washington State.

“In case your wondering, today is the 1 month anniversary of Casey Kasem’s death.  He has not been buried,” tweeted spokesman Danny Deraney.

Kasem died June 15th at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Gig Harbor after a very public fight between his children and his second wife over his care.

Kasem’s wife, Jean, has the rights to his body.  The rest of the family held a memorial service last month which Jean did not attend.

Recently during an appearance on ABC’s The View, daughter Kerri Kasem said her dad had asked to be buried at a cemetery in Los Angeles.
