'Do It Yourself' tips for around the home

SEATTLE - A Bellingham, Wash couple is taking the saying "Do it yourself" to the next level.

Nia and Scott Sayers recently won a Puget Sound Energy design competition by turning their outdated home into a dream home.

The Sayers transformed their home on a very tight budget and did it all by re-purposing salvaged materials. The couple took some time to comment on the tricks of their trade.
