Does member of Congress do the 'worst parking job' ever? (VIDEO)
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A member of Congress was spotted struggling to park her car Wednesday on Capitol Hill, and the video quickly started to go viral.
The witnesses began recording the incident as Eleanor Holmes Norton pulled straight into an angle parking space between two cars, reported political blog RollCall.
"Eleanor Holmes-Norton is struggling to park her car right now," the witness says in the video.
"And she has hit that red car next to her repeatedly," says another witness.
An aide is seen in the video running around the D.C. delegate's car trying to help her out of the spot.
Around the 40-second mark, a U.S. Capitol Hill police officer rides by on a motorcycle without blinking an eye.
At one point, Holmes Norton gets out of the car and starts to walk away. Then walks back as if she is going to, once again, try to fix her parking job.
"If she parks her car like that she should not be a member of Congress anymore," the witness says.
But moments later, she shuts the door and walks away.
