Donald Trump says he's making stops in Washington on May 7
SEATTLE – Donald Trump is coming – at least according to Donald Trump.
The Republican presidential hopeful told a supporter in a phone call Thursday that was posted to social media that he’s planning three campaign stops in Washington on May 7 ahead of the state’s primary.
The date is unconfirmed, but the Clark County GOP office said “we are working on the details for a Trump visit.”
The Trump campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump discussed the visit during a phone call to supporter Joel Mattila.
It would be Trump’s first stop in the state during his campaign to become the Republican presidential nominee.
