ESPN's Hannah Storm holds back tears while reporting Stuart Scott's death (VIDEO)

BRISTOL, Conn. -- ESPN’s Hannah Storm held back tears while delivering the news of Stuart Scott’s death on Sunday.

The veteran “SportsCenter” anchor died after a lengthy battle with cancer, the network said. Scott, 49, was on the air at ESPN for 21 years.

His diagnosis came in November 2007, and ESPN said Scott “went through several surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and clinical trials to stay strong and ward off cancer for as long as humanly possible.”
