Even the fire trucks melted from heat of the wildfires...

"Time to give kudos to the VOLUNTEER firefighters from FD15 in Methow, Pateros and Brewster," the Douglas Okanogan Fire District 15 said Tuesday. "They fought fire for 72 hours straight putting their lives in danger many times (as evident in photos posted of trucks) ...They are hurting as well and a little thank you would build their spirits, a very emotional time for all, we understand. We, too, are praying for those that suffered great losses."
