Families displaced after apartment complex fire in Renton

RENTON, Wash. - Families are staying in temporary shelters after a fire destroyed units at the Honey Creek Apartments in Renton.
Crews with the Renton Fire Department were called to the complex early Saturday morning, located at Duvall Avenue and 12th Street. Firefighters quickly put out the flames, but several units were very badly damaged, displacing families living there.
The fire investigator is working to determine the cause of the fire.
No one was injured in the fire, but displaced families are being provided temporary living arrangements with Red Cross.
