Family catches burglar inside home
Police are looking for the intruder who surprised a Centralia woman in her home. The would-be burglar was discovered when a family returned to their house in the 500 block of North Buckner Street Friday morning, after being gone only a couple of minutes, lewiscountysirens.com reported.
The intruder climbed out a window to escape the home and ran south down Buckner. Police describe him as a white male, possibly in his mid 20's, with tattoos on both hands. He was wearing a blue shirt and black baseball hat, with a white star on its back. It's unclear if he took anything from the home.
Similar recent burglaries in Tenino have prompted police there to urge the public to keep their doors locked, according to the report.
