Foggy welcome to 2014

Fog is dense and widespread this morning, and patchy fog could hang around almost all day.  Eventually it will just be mostly cloudy and we'll top out around normal, mid 40s.  Rain returns tomorrow, in the morning on the coast, by the afternoon for places along I-5.  There will be mountain snow as well.  It gets breezy overnight Thursday into Friday morning.  Friday starts out showery then dries up, highs mid 40s.  The weekend and into Monday it looks dry, but chillier, with highs in the low 40s and overnight lows in the 30s.  Tuesday, we could get some rain again.
