Former Seahawks coach enters into AM radio career
SEATTLE -- A familiar face from Seahawks past is returning to Seattle to start a new career.
The Tacoma News Tribune reports that former Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren will be appearing on KJR 950-AM.
Holmgren, who was most recently with the Cleveland Browns organization, told the paper that he wanted to come back to Seattle “because this is our home.”
His 10 years as coach of the Seahawks will prove valuable in his new role, which begins Monday.
It’s unknown if his stint into radio will lead to a long-term career in broadcasting. Holmgren has recently been the subject of several rumors regarding front office jobs for various NFL franchises.
