Friends of murder victim offer reward to help find his killer

SEATTLE- Friends of murder victim Stephen Jeffries have started an online campaign to help find out who shot him on New Year's Eve.

Jeffries, a 40-yr-old father of four, was shot dead attending a New Year's Eve party in Seattle's White Center neighborhood.

His friend Mike Wheeler has set up a  Facebook page and raised $1,000 towards a reward fund leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Seattle Police responded to a disturbance shortly after 11pm on Dec. 31st. They found Jeffries with gunshot wounds to his torso and a female with a gunshot wound to her hand.

Jeffries later died of his injuries at Harborview Medical Center.
