Fugitive says goodbye on Facebook -- before surrendering

FUGITIVE CAPTURED August 24, 2013 -- The Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force says Ryan Steen surrendered on Saturday. The Task Force says he said goodbye on Facebook before, telling everyone he'd been on Washington's Most Wanted, he was ready to change -- and ready to do the right thing and turn himself in. steenWANTED BY SNOHOMISH COUNTY VIOLENT OFFENDER TASK FORCE June 7, 2013 -- The Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force is on the hunt for a fugitive who was given a break by the judge, allowing Ryan Steen to avoid prison time if he completed a tough drug rehab program. Instead --  he’s disappeared. Steen was accepted into a drug diversion program, but skipped out on his road to recovery, and the task force says he's back to his old criminal ways and selling drugs. Deputies say Steen is a thieving drug dealer with a $100,000 warrant for his arrest. "He's a convicted felon and his criminal history includes weapons violations, robbery, burglary and assaults,” says Snohomish County Lt. A.J. Bryant.
