SEATTLE -- Police are still looking for seven pieces of art stolen from the back of a Budget rental truck last week in North Seattle.

The truck was recovered in West Seattle Sunday, Seattle police said, but seven pieces of art stored in the back of the truck were missing. Police said the truck was being used to transport art from a gallery in Pioneer Square Thursday when it was stolen from the parking lot of a hotel near North 145th Street and Aurora Avenue North.

Detectives are seeking information about the missing art pieces. Below is a photo gallery of the stolen art.

Anyone with information on the theft is encouraged to call Seattle Police Detective Yamashita at 206-684-8945.
