Hiker falls to his death in Olympic National Park
CLALLAM COUNTY -- A hiker fell to his death Saturday morning in the Olympic National Park.
Park officials identified the man as 28 year old Richard Liston of Portland.
They said that he fell from the east face of Mount Olympus while he and a friend were going across a glacier just before 8 a.m.
Since there's no cell phone service in the area, other climbers had to hike out to call for help.
A helicopter flew in to recover his body.
