Huskies' Seferian-Jenkins to have surgery on broken pinkie
SEATTLE -- The Huskies football team received a blow Tuesday after learning that their standout tight end, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, has a broken right pinkie finger and will need surgery.
Huskies head coach Steve Sarkisian confirmed the news after Tuesday's scrimmage. Sarkisian said Seferian-Jenkins, "will be out for quite awhile."
A preseason All-American, Seferian-Jenkins holds just about every career record for a Huskies tight end, with 110 receptions, 1,288 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in his first two seasons with UW.
