FUGITIVE CAPTURED July 16, 2015 -- Kent Police Officer Chris Mills and 'Ghost' caught Washington's Most Wanted fugitive Jose Avila, a.k.a. 'Cowboy,' Thursday night when he tried to run after a patrol officer spotted him walking down the road. Thank you to Officer Mills, 'Ghost' and Kent Police for putting an end to his run from the law!

FUGITIVE WANTED IN KENT July 15, 2015 -- Kent detectives need your help finding wanted domestic violence offender, Jose Adan Avila, a.k.a. 'Cowboy,' and say the violence against his victim continues to escalate. Detectives say he has multiple warrants, continues to violate 'no contact orders' and recently put together a string of vicious assaults -- cutting the victim with a knife on July 4th, cutting her again with scissors the next day and punching her in the head and neck the day after that. Detectives say Avila was able to escape each time before police arrived. Avila has a huge rap sheet that includes criminal history in Texas, Idaho, California, Pennsylvania, Florida. Detectives say he's lived in Washington since 2013 where he's continued to commit violent crimes.
