Kent police investigating injury crash

KENT, Wash. - Police in Kent are investigating a crash that injured a 61-year-old woman Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to the two vehicle crash at the intersection of 104th ave SE and SE 244th street around 5:15 p.m.  The woman had to be extricated from one of the badly damaged vehicles.  She was transported to Harborview with possible life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other car was not injured.

It does not appear that impaired driving contributed to the accident but police continue to investigate.
