Kirkland man injured during apparent residential burglary
KIRKLAND - Police are looking for suspects in a possible residential burglary assault at a home early Saturday morning.
Kirkland police said around 6 a.m. homeowners called 911 to report a burglary and a missing person at an address in the 13700 block of NE 132nd Street.
The homeowners reported finding signs of a struggle and items in the residence in disarray. In addition, the homeowners reported that their 19-year-old son was missing from the home.
Police soon located the teenage boy nearby, suffering from several injuries. Medics transported him to Harborview Medical Center for treatment; his condition is not known at this time.
Police said they believe that an unknown person or persons forced entry into the residence and possibly assaulted the 19-year-old.
