Krusteaz blueberry pancake mix recalled over E. coli concerns
A popular blueberry pancake mix is being recalled over E. coli concerns.
Continental Mills is recalling its Krusteaz Blueberry Pancake Mix that was manufactured between April 2016 and June 2016.
The company says a blueberry nugget in the mix is made with a small percentage of flour that was recalled by General Mills for possible E. coli contamination.
The company says no illnesses have been reported.
If you have purchased the product, you are asked to call the company's consumer relations team, 1-800-457-7744, to receive a refund and then throw the mix away.
The Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control warn people should not eat raw products made with flour.
The agencies say all surfaces, hands and utensils should be cleaned after coming into contact with raw flour or dough.
