Lacey Police arrest wanted Thurston County sex offender

CAPTURED June 20, 2015 -- Lacey Police arrested Timothy Matson thanks to a tip to Crime Stoppers of Olympia/Thurston County. He was booked into jail on 6/20/15 for Assault 2, Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and for a drug charge. DOC officers say a failure to register as a sex offender charge is being referred to the prosecutor for filing. He is WMW Capture #640. WANTED IN THURSTON COUNTY June 16, 2015 -- The U.S. Marshals Pacific Norwest Violent Offender Task Force is asking for the public’s help in locating wanted Thurston County sex offender Timothy Eric Matson. His criminal history includes child molestation, numerous assault convictions, obstruction and harassment. He’s wanted for failing to register. Matson is 6’1” 185 lbs with blue eyes and brown hair.
