LIVE UPDATES: Miami Dolphins at Seattle Seahawks
SEATTLE – It’s here.
Repeat: It’s here.
One more time: It’s finally here.
The Seattle Seahawks open the regular season against the Miami Dolphins at 1 p.m. Sunday at CenturyLink Field.
Of course, it wouldn’t be football without some last-minute drama.
The Hawks were forced to rejigger their offensive line late in the week after first-round draft pick Germain Ifedi suffered a high-ankle sprain in practice Wednesday. The injury came after a preseason which Seattle had appeared to escape mostly unscathed.
Making things even worse: Seattle will be facing a Dolphins team that boasts a ferocious defensive line.
The Seahawks will also be starting the season with Marshawn Lynch at running back for the first time in recent memory. The good news: Thomas Rawls looks to be ready to go after breaking his ankle last season and missing much of the preseason schedule. Even better, Jimmy Graham has a chance to see the field as well.
