Man allegedly pulls gun, makes threats at local basketball court
SEATTLE -- A man allegedly brandishing a handgun and threatening crowds Sunday night near Green Lake is under arrest, Seattle police said.
Officers responded to 911 calls of a man with a gun at 9:14 p.m. in the 7200 block of East Green Lake Drive North. The man allegedly threatened people near some basketball courts.
Twelve minutes after the call, police spotted the man, disabled his handgun and arrested him, officials said. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of felony malicious harassment. The age and description of the suspect were not immediately available.
Seattle police detectives are investigating the incident.
