Man charged for allegedly blowing up his dog
SKAMANIA COUNTY -- A 45-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning near Stevenson, Wash., after sheriff's deputies allegedly found he used an explosive device to blow up his dog.
Skamania County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home around 3:45 a.m. after reports of an explosion. Deputies arrived to allegedly find the remains of a dog strewn about Christopher Dillingham's property and surmised he strapped an explosive device to his dog and blew it up.
Investigators from the sheriff's office, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and the Metro Bomb Squad are investigating the incident.
Monday afternoon Dillingham was charged with one count of possession of explosives, one count of reckless endangerment/domestic violence and one count of reckless endangerment.
