Man reportedly standing in middle of Bel-Red Road struck by driver, seriously injured

BELLEVUE -- A man reportedly standing on Bellevue-Redmond Road was struck and seriously injured by a driver Wednesday night, police said.

The accident occurred in the 15000 block of Bel-Red Road.

Bellevue police said that, according to driver, the victim was possibly drunk and "standing in the middle of the road."

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

The accident was under investigation.
