Man shot, injured in Renton shooting
Renton Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 42-year-old man on New Year's Day.
RENTON, Wash. - The Renton Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man injured on New Year's Day.
According to police, officers responded to a shooting on Morris Avenue South and South 2nd Street around 5:20 p.m., near Renton High School.
Renton PD says a 911 caller reported someone had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a 42-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The victim was taken to the hospital, though his current condition is unknown.
