4 found dead inside Graham home, deputies investigating
PUYALLUP, Wash. - Four people were found dead inside a Graham home as Pierce County deputies performed a welfare check on Tuesday.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, deputies were dispatched to a home on Eastwood Avenue East, south of Puyallup, around 10:50 a.m.
Upon entering, four adults were found dead inside the home.
Detectives are still investigating the four deaths. A cause of death has yet to be determined, but deputies say it does not appear they died of normal circumstances.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department says this was their fourth time being requested to do a welfare check at the home. Deputies initially responded on December 23, noting there were no signs of forced entry into the home, though they couldn't see in the windows. There was also no way for deputies to get inside the house.
Additional welfare checks were requested on Dec. 29 and 30, but deputies still didn't have enough information that would allow them to force entry. Deputies eventually discovered the bodies after receiving a fourth call from someone who gave them legal exigent circumstances to enter the home.
The Sheriff's Department will release more information when it becomes available.
