Man shot, deputies searching for suspects
SEATTLE - About 5:30 p.m. Friday Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call about a possible home burglary in the 20 block of South Carpenter Rd.
When they arrived at the home, they found a 48-year-old male with a possible gunshot wound to his leg. The victim told deputies that he believed the suspect was a white male with gray hair and was driving a white Dodge truck.
The victim suffered serious wounds and is being transported to a nearby hospital.
Witnesses told police there were possibly seven suspects involved in the shooting, which may have began as a robbery. Authorities have four of the suspects and deputies are searching the area near the 300 block of South Carpenter Road for three others.
Carpenter Road has been closed while they conduct their search and police have asked people to stay away from the area.
