Man shot on Capitol Hill, suspect quickly arrested
SEATTLE - Seattle Police detectives are investigating an early morning shooting on Capitol Hill. Police said that a wounded man was found shot several times near 10th Avenue and East Pine Street just after 3 a.m. Sunday. As officers arrived and found the victim, an update indicated that a possible suspect was seen running through nearby Cal Anderson Park. Police responded to the park and located the suspect, took him into custody. Police said that the man had a gun in his possession.
The Seattle Fire Department transported the shooting victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Detectives are trying to determine what lead up to the shooting incident.
