Man stabbed to death in Yelm; suspect arrested
YELM, Wash. -- A 52-year-old man was stabbed to death at a home in Yelm Wednesday, and another man suspected in the killing was arrested, the Thurston County Sheriff's Office said.
A woman called 911 at about 4:58 p.m. to report that a man had been stabbed at a home in the 19800 block of 161st Way SE near Smith Prairie Road, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies found that man on the porch. The suspect was still there and was detained in front of the home.
The sheriff's office said both men resided on the same property in separate dwellings and preliminary indications were that an argument ensued over some missing personal arguments prior to the stabbing.
The suspect was booked into the Thurston County Jail for second-degree murder.
