ELMA, Wash. -- Grays Harbor County deputies say they are looking for Elma homeowner Jacob Eveland on suspicion of murder and arson.

Thirty-six-year-old Eveland's house was found burning late Tuesday and authorities discovered a body outside.

The body found alongside the burning house was a 47-year-old man living at Eveland's home, Sheriff Rick Scott said.

A flier distributed to the media by the sheriff's office described Eveland as white, 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, blue eyes and brown hair.

"It appears the victim was assaulted with an edged weapon and a firearm. The weapons have not been recovered."

Deputies say Eveland could be heading to Oregon in a gold 2005 Chevy Silverado with Washington plates B35387U. The truck has a matching canopy with an NRA sticker in the window. It also has running lights on top of the cab and aftermarket wheels.

They say Eveland should be considered "armed and dangerous."

Deputies came to the house fire on Hicklin Road in Elma after a neighbor reported hearing  gunshots around 11 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, deputies found the body outside and a home engulfed by flames.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
