Metro honors bus driver Shawn Yim in Seattle memorial procession

King County Metro, along with community members and regional transit agencies gathered on Jan. 10 to remember Shawn Yim, a Metro bus driver who was tragically murdered in December while on duty.

The commemoration began with a mid-morning procession of buses and transit vehicles through downtown Seattle to Yim's memorial service. In light of this, Metro is telling riders and drivers to plan ahead since several dozen buses and transit vehicles will be participating in the procession.
