Minor injuries reported after collision involving school bus in Olympia

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Olympia Police say six students aboard a school bus were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries following a collision involving the school bus and a car.

The department said on Twitter that the driver of the car was also taken to the hospital with injuries that aren't considered life-threatening.

The school bus was heading to Marshall Middle School when the crash happened at Cooper Point Rd NW & 14th Ave NW around 8 a.m.



There were about 35-40 kids on the bus.
