Missing Lacey woman found safe in Florida

LACEY, Wash. -- Police said Tuesday that a "missing" 78-year-old woman who left her assisted living facility was found safe in Ft. Myers, Fla.
Lacey police had asked the public to help find Alene H. Stevenson, who was last seen walking at 12 p.m. Sunday in the 4500 block of Intelco Loop SE.
Stevenson suffers from Parkinson's disease and left her adult family care residence with no medication. She did leave a note to her caretakers saying she would no longer live at the facility. Along with Parkinson's, Alene is frail and has various health problems.
Police offered no other details Tuesday other than Stevenson was found safe in Florida.
