Mississippi wants to put woman on trial for having miscarriage

The state of Mississippi is trying to prove that a woman caused her child's death by taking drugs when she was pregnant and that makes her a criminal. A lower court threw out the charge of manslaughter, but now the case is at the Mississippi Supreme Court. Prosecutors say the woman should stand trial, but her defense lawyer says if that happens, it means other women who miscarry could face all kinds of questions about what they did during their pregnancy, putting innocent women on trial.
