More than 50,000 still without power across Western Washington

SEATTLE -- High winds, rain, trees down -- it all adds up to widespread power outages. Thousands in the city of Seattle lost power overnight. Seattle City Light is reporting about 315 customers currently without power Saturday afternoon - down from more than 28,000 earlier.

West Seattle wires downPuget Sound Energy is reporting about 36,414 customers without power -- N. King 14,000; Kitsap 7,000; S. King 4,500; Thurston 3,600; Pierce 2,300; Vashon 1,400; Skagit 1,200; Island 1,100; Whatcom 850.

Tacoma PUD is reporting less than 3,000 customers without power.

Grays Harbor PUD is reporting about 7,000 customers without power in Ocean Shores and 175 without power in Hoquiam.

Crews are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
