Motel SWAT standoff leads to arrest of accused gun felon named 'Bugs'
FUGITIVE CAPTURED September 21, 2013 -- Deputies arrested Mallory “Bugs” Gholson at the Shoreline Motel following a 45 minute standoff with King County Sheriff’s Swat Team. King County Detective Cary Coblantz was searching for a felony DV suspect Saturday when he spotted a black Cadillac Gholson was associated with in the parking lot of the motel on Aurora Ave N. No weapons were found in his room but detectives say they suspect he refused to come to the door because he was flushing baggies down the toilet. He was arrested on his US Marshal warrant for possession of a weapon.
