Motorcyclist dies in collision with auto in Bellevue; driver of car arrested
BELLEVUE -- A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed Friday after colliding with an Acura making a left turn in the intersection of NE 10th Street and 102nd Avenue NE. The driver of the car was arrested for investigation of vehicular manslaughter, police said.
Bellevue police spokeswoman Carla Ifrante said that accident occurred at about 6 p.m.
The motorcyclist was rushed to Overlake Hospital, where he died.
After the initial interview of the driver of the Acura coup, officers placed the 33-year-old Bellevue man into custody for investigation of vehicular homicide.
No other details were immediately released.
