Pedestrian hit by car seriously hurt in Seattle; driver showed signs of impairment, cops say
SEATTLE -- Police arrested a driver after a crash that left a 58-year-old pedestrian seriously hurt.
According to Seattle police, officers were called around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday to the intersection of NE 65th St and Roosevelt Way NE.
The woman was taken with life-threatening injuries to Harborview Medical Center. The extent of her injuries was unknown.
Police arrested the driver, a man in his 60s, who they said showed signs of impairment.
Traffic collision investigators closed NE 65th St in the area while they investigated.
