Police continue search for floating body
PORT ORCHARD, Wash. -- Police are still looking for a body spotted floating Friday near the Port Orchard Marina, the Kitsap Sun reported.
According to the Sun, the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office and the Port Orchard Police Department spent most of the weekend cruising the water near the port searching for the body. Crews walked on the shoreline between Waterman Point to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton over the weekend. The Coast Guard even made a few passes overhead, but nothing was seen.
The body was reported missing at 6:15 p.m. Friday. It is believed to be the body of Thomas Craig Vogt, the Sun reported, who went missing Thursday afternoon.
His truck was found near the shoreline of the Port Washington Narrows Saturday.
